R.E.M. lança coletânea "definitiva" com inéditas

It´s the end of R.E.M. as we know it. Apesar disso, a melhor banda de rock da América, segundo a revista Rolling Stone, lança no dia 15 de novembro a coletânea "Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage: 1982 – 2011". Na definição dos próprios integrantes a coletânea definitiva da banda trará as 40 músicas mais influentes da banda, além de três canções inéditas e um encarte especial

A seleção engloba todas as fases da banda incluindo músicas dos primeiros álbuns sob o selo I.R.S., diversos hits e algumas que apesar de ótimas, estiveram de fora de outras seleções, como é o caso de Get Up, do álbum Green, o primeiro gravado pela Warner.
